Dr. Bop’s musical expedition began in 2000 during his teens producing Hip-Hop music. In around 2005 he discovered Psychedelic Trance and began producing it as well. By the time 2010 rolled round he noticed that many of Johannesburg’s psychedelic producing talents were going unnoticed by the international scene, so he set out to build a movement to share this music with the world. 

Today he runs ZuluTunes with co-owner Pastor John, sharing the responsibilities of administration, compiling, design, public relations, marketing and general co-ordination. 

The music he makes varies widely depending on the mood, sometimes he makes a dark musical Hi-Tech track and other days he pushes out traditional underground Boom Bap Hip-Hop. Bops is also 1/3 of the rap group Nuke Smugglaz along with Kriss Anti-B and R-senic. Writing your own Bio is awkward XD
