Winner – NYC Hip-Hop Film Fest 2020 / HH411 Battle Cypher

The New-York Film Festival 2020 in conjunction with Hip-Hop 411 held the South African leg of their lock-down streamed battle cypher. I faced off against some of the best battle rappers in South Africa and managed to take the W landing up against Tony Dangler in the final round. Much respect to all the emcess, it was a really dope and fun session.

The actual event was streamed and performed live on Zoom, but we pre-recorded verses in case of technical difficulties. These were later released as 3 round vs 3 round match ups on Youtube. My first round opponent was Lution, who my rounds were paired with in the video below.
